YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Justice of Armenia has submitted for public debates the package of draft constitutional laws and related laws on amendments and additions to the law on Judicial Code, and on additions to the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly; this was reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the ministry.

The draft package proposes to establish a specialized anticorruption court comprising at least 25 judges, 20 of whom will hear cases of corruption crimes under Annex 6 of the Criminal Code, and the other 5 judges—the cases stemming from the petitions and lawsuits filed based on the law on confiscation of illegal property.

The draft package also proposes to set up a specialized anticorruption court of appeal comprising least 10 judges.
