The Georgian Railway company of Armenia has officially informed the South Caucasus Railway (SCR) company of Armenia that the railway service to Armenia will be suspended, from September 1 to 16, due to the construction of a bridge over the railway passing through Tbilisi.

SCR has informed the cargo carriers about this information, proposing to its partners to carry out cargo transportation for that period in August, or to distribute them evenly after September 16.

Due to these restrictions, however, SCR does not anticipate problems with the delivery of cargo to and from Armenia, as there is sufficient time to change the respective schedule.
