YEREVAN. – It would be better if March 1 convicts were released by May 28, MP from Republican Party Gagik Melikyan told the journalists on Monday.
There must be legal basis for release of political prisoners. It must be done either by declaring an amnesty or an appeal from public figures to the president, he said.
According to press reports, March 1 convicts Nikol Pashinyan and Sasun Mikaelyan will be released on May 28.
