A new round of trials is beginning for the Police of Armenia and their relatively newly appointed chief, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's classmate and neighbor Vahe Ghazaryan, according to 168.am.

On the one hand, the problems related to [the] Amulsar [gold mine project] and Mashtots Park [in Yerevan], the waves of protests that have arisen and will arise on the basis of growing social protests, and on the other hand, the personnel issues will become a serious problem for the [police] structure.

Thus, the two deputy chiefs of police, Hayk Mhryan and Tigran Yesayan, have submitted their resignations.

According to the website, at the moment they are already collecting their things from their offices.
