Seven participants of protests in Armenia's Amulsar have been apprehended.

A total of 182 reports have been drawn up, police press service reported.

The Amulsar gold mine has been in development by Lydian International since 2016.

According to the company, the project meets all the requirements both legal and environmental and could open hundreds of jobs and generate millions of dollars in tax revenues. However, local residents and environmental activists are protesting the decision and blocking roads leading to the site.
