YEREVAN. – Pashinyan must mediate so that we can go to Russia by car. Davit Harutyunyan, a Russian citizen and human rights activist, said this Thursday in front of the Armenian government building.

Harutyunyan and many other Russian citizens had come to Armenia some time ago, but now they are unable to return to their families in Russia.

He noted that for a long time they have addressed this matter to Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan, who promised to solve the problem, but it has not been resolved yet.

According to Harutyunyan, they can drive to Russia via Georgia, but this can happen only if the Armenian PM mediates in this regard. "We only need permission [for this]. We will solve all the other financial problems ourselves—observing all the safety as well as anti-epidemic rules. If we go with our cars, then the probability of the spread of the [COVID-19] infection will be less," Davit Harutyunyan concluded.
