Amulsar defenders continue protest action.

The protesters had three demands: to move the mobile homes placed by the security service officers of Lydian Armenia, to withdraw the employees of the security service of the company from the territory of Amulsar, as well as a clear decision of the Government on the mine.

The Amulsar gold mine has been in development by Lydian International since 2016.

According to the company, the project meets all the requirements both legal and environmental and could open hundreds of jobs and generate millions of dollars in tax revenues.

However, local residents and environmental activists are protesting the decision and blocking roads leading to the site.
