The US may receive a coronavirus vaccine before the November elections, President Donald Trump reported.
This is a much more optimistic outlook than the timeframe that White House health experts are calling, Reuters reported.
Asked about when the vaccine might be ready, Trump said on a radio broadcast: “Sooner than the end of the year, could be much sooner.”
“Sooner than November 3?” he was asked.
“I think in some cases, yes possible before, but right around that time,” Trump said.
