Thousands of workers of the Minsk Tractor Works began a march to the downtown Minsk. They demand the resignation of President Aleksandr Lukashenko and the holding of new elections, TASS reported.

The police are not hindering them yet.

As the agency notes, the march began after the Prime Minister of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, who arrived at the plant, refused to communicate with the strikers in the presence of journalists.
