The Armenian Foreign Ministry is closely following the latest developments and naval mobilization in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean regions, resulting from the illegal and provocative actions of Turkey, the MFA said in a statement on Saturday.

According to it, this destabilizing position in the Eastern Mediterranean demonstrates Turkey's consistently aggressive and expansionist policies in neighboring regions.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry confirms its unconditional support and solidarity with Greece and Cyprus and calls on Turkey to take steps to reduce tensions.

The MFA calls on Turkey to respect international law and suspend all actions in the exclusive economic zones of Greece and Cyprus.
