YEREVAN. – As reported earlier, the office of the third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, issued a statement announcing that Sargsyan on Wednesday will hold his first post-resignation press conference—and on the topic of the April 2016 war.

Armenian News-NEWS.am asked Sargsyan's office why the third president decided to hold a big press conference now, when the coronavirus-related state of emergency is not over yet in the country, and why on the topic of the four-day war in April 2016.

In response to our inquiry, Meri Harutyunyan, the person in charge of Serzh Sargsyan’s office, said that the third president will answer all the questions in detail during the aforesaid press conference. "I can only say that there will be interesting revelations, including on the matters you mentioned," she added.
