The Yerevan Police received a call from the operative control center that a wallet had been stolen from a woman's purse in a public transport vehicle—and the wallet which contained money, a passport, and accumulative cards, the Armenia Police press service reported.

Several hours after the incident, the officers of the law apprehended a 46-year-old resident of Yerevan, and took her to a police station, where she confessed to the act.

The stolen items have been confiscated.
