In response to an inquiry from Armenian News-NEWS.am, the Ministry of Economy of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) informed that the government envisages building 1,000 apartments a year through the One Home for Every Family Program to be implemented from 2020 to 2025.

The program is in the stage of development, and the amount of funding required for project implementation is being calculated.

As the press service of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Housing of Artsakh had told Armenian News-NEWS.am earlier, the program will be launched on January 1, 2021. The project’s beneficiaries will be the families, the security of each member of which is less than 7 square meters according to the living space.

In addition, apartments will also be provided in case there are more than one family living under one roof.

The existing state support programs will be reviewed during development of the project.
