You probably remember that at the government session I had given an instruction to restore a number of sculptural works near the highways of Armenia; Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote this on his Facebook page on Tuesday.
“Back in the spring, the government allocated 176 million and 76 million drams, respectively, for the repair and improvement of adjacent areas of two of them—‘Road Builders’ and ‘Echo’ on the Sevan-Yerevan highway.
In June and July, the ESCS [Education, Science, Culture and Sports] Ministry announced a public tender to select a company to carry out the restoration work. Both tenders did not take place due to non-participation.
Yesterday the ministry announced the third tender. We hope that this time there will be participants and winners and not only a cultural issue will be solved, but also an economic one because this capital investment also implies new jobs," Pashinyan added.
