After the planned overhaul, the No. 3 and 4 turbine generators of the second power unit of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) have been reconnected to the single power grid of Armenia.
The overhaul has enabled to considerably increase the degree of safety and reliability of the operation of this power unit.
The planned overhaul of the power plant was completed 12 days ahead of schedule.
Once the planned overhaul is completed, the work on the program of extending the lifetime of the second power unit of the Armenian NPP will continue.
