On August 17, Yerevan police received information that a young woman was found dead on a street.

It was found out that there were traces of violence on the body of this 26-year-old woman, and she was killed.

A criminal case was initiated in connection with the incident.

Police obtained information about the identity of the murder suspect.

The law enforcement officers also ascertained a number of circumstances behind the incident. Accordingly, as per preliminary data, the young woman was strangled by her boyfriend—a 32-year-old foreigner.

Measures are taken to find the suspect and bring him in to the investigative body.
