On August 20, at around midnight, a hospital called the police station in Gyumri and reported that a 23-year-old man had come to the hospital with his neck cut and a bleeding wound.

The news service of the Police reports that two girls, one of whom was, according to preliminary data, the man’s girlfriend, had tried to kill him.

Due to disagreement over personal matters or with the intention to take revenge, the girls invited the young man to a park, and when the man was talking to his girlfriend, the other girl cut his neck with a razor blade.

Realizing the information, police apprehended both girls and took them to the police station in Gyumri the same day.

The girls are under arrest.

The circumstances are being clarified.

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case instituted in relation to attempt of murder is underway.
