YEREVAN. – By the order of defense minister Davit Tonoyan, several servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces have been awarded the Marshal Baghramyan and the Military Cooperation Medals of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia for their extensive work on coronavirus prevention and testing in the Armenian Armed Forces, the MOD informed.

And the respective award ceremony took place Friday at the ministry—and which was attended also by Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopirkin, and the military and air force attaché of the Russian embassy, Colonel Andrey Grischuk.

Congratulating the award recipients, Minister Tonoyan also thanked Russia for its assistance in the fight against COVID-19.
