YEREVAN. – Despite the negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, the integration process within the EEU is intensifying. Economist Tatul Manaseryan stated this during Saturday’s press conference, as he presenting his research on Armenia’s economy in the first half of 2020 in the context of the country's membership in the EEU.

According to him, by the results of the first half of the year, Armenia's foreign trade has decreased. But at the same time, the exports of Armenian products to the other EEU countries, particularly to Russia, continue to grow.

Manaseryan, however, also noted the existing problems within the EEU. In particular, the economist touched upon the non-fulfillment of the agreements reached within the Union.
