A criminal case has been initiated on the apparent misuse in the renovation of government mansions, and whose investigation has been assigned to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia (RA), according to Pastinfo.

Pastinfo had reported earlier that the State Supervision Service had detected misuse in the aforesaid renovations carried out by Kond Private House Economy SNCO, which is under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister's staff.

These government mansions, where senior officials live, are on the balance sheet of this SNCO.

"The materials on the apparent misuse committed at the (...) SNCO have been sent by the RA State Supervision Service to the RA Investigative Committee, where a criminal case has been initiated (…) in connection with the case of the alleged crime," the RA Prosecutor's Office informed in writing, and in response to the respective inquiry by Pastinfo.

According to Pastinfo, the case is about 250mn drams of misuse.
