President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan yesterday visited the factory of Honey House Artsakh in Vank village of Martakert region where he got acquainted with the working conditions.

The aim of the company established with government support is to enhance beekeeping in Artsakh, produce ecologically clean and high-quality honey, find markets to sell honey abroad and mainly engage officers on pension.

The company’s representatives presented the company’s international quality certificate and talked about the current demand and the successful cooperation with the first 25 beekeepers.

The head of state attached importance to the company’s activities and noted that beekeeping has great prospects in Artsakh and that the government will carry out new programs for development of the sector.
