Former Chief of Staff of the President of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov is involved as an accused in the criminal case launched in relation to offences committed at the Foundation for State Support to the Development of Mass Media and the provision of apartments to journalists.

As reported Azeri Daily, Ali Hasanov, who is located at a clinic in Turkey, was contacted and asked if his health allowed him to return to Azerbaijan via a plane. Hasanov was also told that if he doesn’t return soon, a search will be declared against him and he will be transported to Azerbaijan.
