Those injured as a result of the alcohol poisoning in Armavir Province and in Yerevan are receiving treatment at various medical organizations. Alina Nikoghosyan, spokesperson for the minister of health of Armenia, wrote about this on Facebook.

Doctors say all of them are in critical condition, and two of them are hooked up to ventilators.

A preliminary epidemiological examination has revealed, however, that one in 11 previously reported deaths has been refuted because this death was due to another cause.

All the victims had used non-factory vodka, and this could be the probable source of this poisoning.

Work is underway to determine the circle of the users of this alcoholic beverage and to take preventive measures.

Two lab samples of this beverage were taken to determine its composition.
