Speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Artur Tovmasyan today convened a working consultation with the Deputy Speaker, chairmen of standing committees, leaders of factions and representatives of the Staff of the National Assembly.

During the consultation, the parliamentary speaker asked if the bills on the agenda for the second sitting of the seventh convocation of the National Assembly are ready to be considered during the first session of the fall sitting.

The parliamentary speaker also touched upon his visit to the Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic from August 28 to September 5 and talked about his meetings and the bilateral agreements that were reached.

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Gagik Baghunts also provided brief information about the activities that the parliament had carried out on the days of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Artsakh and particularly touched upon the meetings of the My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia and the parliamentary factions of Artsakh and the discussion on the new educational criteria hosted by the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Affairs of the National Assembly.

Summing up the consultation, Tovmasyan assigned the leaders of factions to make recommendations for the formation of the agenda for the upcoming session of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assemblies of Armenia and Artsakh.
