YEREVAN. – The Yerevan court session on the criminal case against second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan and several other former senior officials is resuming Tuesday.

The hearing was adjourned almost a month ago due to the fact that Erik Aleksanyan, a lawyer of former deputy PM Armen Gevorgyan—who is also a defendant in this case, was on vacation, whereas the second attorney, Vardges Gevorgyan, had refused to defend.

Also, it became known Monday that the legal successors of the victims of the case into the March 1, 2008 events in Yerevan and their legal representatives have decided to no longer attend the court sessions of this case—and as a sign of their dissatisfaction with the mild actions by the prosecution.
