YEREVAN. – The Yerevan court session on the criminal case against Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan and several other former senior officials will continue behind closed doors. Presiding Judge Anna Danibekyan made this decision in response to the respective request of defense attorney Aram Vardevanyan.
At one of the previous hearings, Vardevanyan had motioned to lift the attachment on the former president's property, and had promised to submit an expert assessment of this property.
The lawyer said Tuesday that he has the relevant document, but asked the court to continue this hearing behind closed doors.
