STEPANAKERT. – Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Haroutyunyan Tuesday visited the city of Shushi and took part in a festive event organized by the Free Homeland Party, and dedicated to the day of declaration of Artsakh Republic, the presidential staff reported.

Haroutyunyan welcomed the participants, emphasizing in his speech that they managed to gain the freedom and independence of Artsakh at the cost of a great struggle.

According to the President, in order to have a developed and competitive country, it is very important to have a knowledge-based and hard-working youth and their involvement in the political system of the country, as well as in all spheres of life.

During the solemn event, President Haroutyunyan also handed Free Homeland Party membership certificates to a group of youth who have joined this political force.
