YEREVAN. – We have made a change in connection with the quarantine regime. Those people who have arrived from other countries and who do not want to be quarantined for 14 days can take a [COVID-19] test on the spot and get the results in one day; and if the result is negative, the person may not be quarantined. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this Thursday at the Cabinet session of the government of Armenia.

And Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan—who is also commandant of the current coronavirus-related state of emergency in Armenia—noted that at the moment, the country has not established any entry barrier for foreign citizens through its air borders. "About 20 test sampling points are being built at [Armenia’s] airports at the moment, and those people who want to do test sampling on the spot will have that opportunity," he added.
