Many employees of Gazprom Armenia CJSC are being fired. Edmon Marukyan, chairman of the opposition Bright Armenia Party and head of its parliamentary faction, wrote about this on his Facebook page on Friday.

"I would like to inform that yesterday afternoon I petitioned to Garegin Baghramyan, chairman of the RA PSRC [Republic of Armenia Public Services Regulatory Commission], regarding the following issue: According to the information provided to us, many employees (basically, inspectors and others) of Gazprom Armenia CJSC  are being fired, while, according to the information source, the salaries of the employees of the same company have recently been reduced by 20%.

I have asked the chairman of the commission to conduct a study to find out the reasons for the above-mentioned staff and salary reductions in the company and the legality of the process,” Marukyan added, in particular.
