YEREVAN. – The National Assembly (NA) of Armenia on Tuesday concluded its secret ballot to elect Arkadi Khachatryan, a member of the opposition Bright Armenia faction, as new chair of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.

His respective candidacy was supported by 96 MPs, whereas four others—opposed it.

In this capacity, Khachatryan will replace Mane Tandilyan, a member of the Bright Armenia faction, who has renounced her parliamentary seat due to health problems.
