Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia Suren Papikyan today held a working consultation with the country’s regional governors, as reported the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

At the outset, the minister stated that the consultations with regional governors will be held on a regular basis since there are no more obstacles conditioned by the epidemiological situation in the country.

During the consultation, the regional governors delivered reports on the course of implementation of the subvention programs that the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure is carrying out for development of social and economic infrastructures in Armenia’s villages, adding that out of the nearly 700 subvention programs, 65 are complete.

Minister Papikyan touched upon the development of a new procedure for assessment of regional governors and the upcoming changes in the structures and statutes of regional governors’ offices and urged the regional governors to be governed by the imperative to organize the activities of the regional governors’ offices as completely and effectively as possible.
