YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: As it is known, the other day the NA [National Assembly] ruling faction almost unanimously elected the three [new] judges of the CC [Constitutional Court].

For certain political circles, the election of these three judges—especially of Khundkaryan and Vagharshyan—has been quite shocking, so it is no coincidence that these circles have been intensively attacking the authorities for two days now.

The same circles have become even angrier with the information circulating behind the scenes that the authorities do not want to see [CC judge] Vahe Grigoryan—who once had declared himself the president of the CC—in the post of the president of the CC.

Such a course of events was in no way predictable for the mentioned units. They were convinced that their "CC of” their “heart's desire" should consist exclusively of judges acting in Grigoryan's "line," and the president, of course, should be the mentioned judge.

According to Past newspaper’s information, during a meeting held yesterday, representatives of some well-known political circles decided on their future tactics: that is, to strongly criticize—on all possible platforms—the election that took place, target the candidates elected by the NA, and constantly stress that the current authorities have betrayed the "revolution" and deviated from the revolutionary agenda.
