The World Bank (WB) has published its latest Human Capital Index (HCI) study, which measures the effectiveness of human capital in the world.

The HCI 2020 is based on respective data as of March, and it provides very important pre-coronavirus baseline data that can be used for post-pandemic rehabilitation healthcare and education policies and investments

At HCI 2020, Armenia slightly improved its score among the 174 countries to 0.58, it was 0.57 in 2018.

Armenia's HCI is lower than the average indicator (0.69) for its Europe and Central Asia region, but it is higher than the average for its income group.
