Former Armenian MP Armen Pambukhchyan posted the following on his Facebook page after dropping his parliamentary mandate:

“Today I submitted to Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan an application to drop my parliamentary mandate.

I would like to state that I will continue to work in government upon my desire and upon the consent of the political team.

I would like to thank all my colleagues of the seventh convocation of the National Assembly for the effective cooperation. It is obvious that I would like to give special thanks to the My Step faction for the substantive discussions for implementation of the common goals and the decisions that were made. I assure that the My Step faction has been and will continue to be the bearer of the values of the revolution and the strong institution that will serve for the interests of citizens of Armenia and our statehood.

I would especially like to thank the citizens who worked with me. I apologize to the citizens whose issues remained unsolved.

Thank you.”
