The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has registered a Ford patent application for the Warthog trademark for passenger cars and SUVs, Motor reported.

Ford has registered the Warthog trademark with the US patent office, which it claims may be used as a model name for passenger cars, SUVs, and pickups.

Motor Trend, citing its sources in the American concern, claims that most likely Ford has patented the name for the new SUV, which will be an extreme version of the Bronco model.
