Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Uktam Barnoyev has died from the coronavirus, as reported RIA Novosti, citing the operational headquarters adjunct to the country’s government.

Uzbekistan has reported 51,235 coronavirus cases (429 patients have died, and 47,271 patients have recovered).

In late July, Speaker of the Parliament Musa Yerniyazov and Deputy Minister of Finance Yerkin Tursunov died from complications caused by the coronavirus.
