Dear compatriots, I am sure you remember that on March 8, 2020, we announced the "Birth Registration at the Maternity Hospital" Program, which was joined in the very first stage by Yerevan’s three largest medical organizations providing maternity care, and as of June—by four more. Armenia’s Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan wrote this on Facebook.

"Now I will present the encouraging indicator: Since June 20, 2020, 5,255 births have been registered in Yerevan city, of which 3,688 were at the service centers located in 7 medical organizations.

In addition, the Program was fully in line with the policy pursued by the state aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus disease [in Armenia], reducing as much as possible the movement of citizens in connection with the registration of childbirth.
