YEREVAN. – I feel very good in the post of judge of the Constitutional Court, and I hope that I will continue to work there. Arman Dilanyan, a judge of the Constitutional Court of Armenia, on Thursday told this to reporters outside the Court, adding that he will not self-nominate for the post of President of the Constitutional Court.

To the remark that according to the press, according to the scenario of fellow Judge Vahe Grigoryan of the Constitutional Court, he will be the new president of the Court, Dilanyan said: "Do not believe such fabrications."

He noted that at the moment there is no candidate for the President of the Constitutional Court. "We have not yet reached the stage of nomination or self-nomination," Dilanyan added.

Asked whether he wants to head the Constitutional Court, Arman Dilnyan said: "I think that the position of a judge of the Constitutional Court is the best position for lawyers to manifest their professional skills. I feel very good in that position, and I hope to continue working there.

In my opinion, the position of the President of the Constitutional Court is not appealing at all. I can't say how things will turn out later, but I believe it is very difficult to combine the professional work of a judge of the Constitutional Court with the position of the President of the Constitutional Court, which presupposes representative, administrative, and organizational functions. It is much more comfortable to work in the Constitutional Court as a judge of the Constitutional Court," Arman Dilanyan said.
