So far, two Armenian soldiers have died from the coronavirus, and one of them was a female, ArmDaily reported.

One of these soldier died at Saint Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center, and the other—at the Central Clinical Military Hospital.

In a conversation with ArmDaily, Shushan Stepanyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, did not comment on this report, whereas the Prosecutor General’s Office informed that one of these soldiers had died on June 29, at Saint Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center, and the diagnosis was: “Coronavirus disease, pulmonary artery thromboembolism,” whereas the other had died on August 2, from COVID-19.
