President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Harutyounyan today visited the area of a cemetery located in the eastern sector of Stepanakert along with Mayor of Stepanakert Davit Sargsyan and Minister of Urban Development Aram Sargsyan.
The head of state assigned to asphalt the main road leading to the cemetery this year and design an area for a new cemetery where land works will be carried out through state funding so that leveled areas are provided to relatives to bury the deceased.
Harutyounyan also stated that it is time to discuss with the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church and pass a law on the placement of tombstones that comply with specific criteria.
