In response to an inquiry from Armenian News-NEWS.am, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) reported that the main part of exports in the first quarter of 2020 (AMD 11,800,000,000 or 69.9% of total exports) comprised mineral products, followed by precious stones and metals (AMD 3,100,000,000, 18.6%), fabricated foods (AMD 571,900, 3.4%) and animals and products of animal origin (AMD 430,000,000, 2.5%).

In the first quarter of 2020, compared with the same period of the previous year, exports of products from Artsakh dropped by almost 20%, making up AMD 16,900,000, compared with AMD 21,300,000 between the months of January and March 2019.

Imports dropped by 7.5% and made up AMD 35,500,000 between the months of January and March 2020, compared with AMD 38,700,000 in the same period of the previous year.
