The Civil Contract Party discussed issues related to the management system during its enlarged session. This is what Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan told reporters after the session.

“We simply discussed the advantages, what advantages we can benefit from and what changes may be made in regard to political parties,” he said.

Touching upon the upcoming rally to be held by Prosperous Armenia Party, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party and Homeland Party, Simonyan said he is concerned since such an event may lead to the rise in the number of coronavirus cases in the current coronavirus situation.

“As far as the demands that the parties are presenting, they are free to present demands, but citizens of Armenia know the histories of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party and Prosperous Armenia Party very well and also know the evaluation of and information about Homeland Party very well. Each political party holding the rally has a personal interest. In the case of Prosperous Armenia Party, it is the tendency to have a political shelter with regard to the criminal cases regarding Gagik Tsarukyan, in the case of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party, it is an attempt for restart in politics, and as for Homeland Party, I have no comment,” he said.
