Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has deprived Head of the Inspection Bodies’ Coordination Bureau Artur Asoyan of his previously granted letter of appreciation.

As reported earlier, Prime Minister Pashinyan on September 18 signed a decision on granting awards. Based on the decision, several officials were granted letters of appreciation, including Head of the Inspection Bodies’ Coordination Bureau of the Office of the Prime Minister Artur Asoyan.

Today Pashinyan signed a new decision on removing Asoyan from the list of recipients.

Pashinyan today chaired a discussion devoted to the reports of the Food Safety Inspectorate and the Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Mineral Resources on their activities carried out during 2019 and the first eight months of 2020, and hours later, Head of the Food Safety Inspectorate Georgi Avetisyan was sacked.
