Yervand Khundkaryan, the only candidate nominated for President of the Constitutional Court of Armenia, failed to garner the required number of votes after a secret ballot held during today’s procedural session of the Constitutional Court, as reported Chief of Staff of the Constitutional Court Edgar Ghazaryan on his Facebook page.

The nine judges of the Constitutional Court were supposed to give five votes in favor of Khundkaryan in order for the latter to be elected President.
