The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has issued the following statement:
“According to the existing information, the situation has sharply escalated in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Both sides are shooting intensively along the length of the line of contact.
Information about casualties are being received. We call on the sides to immediately stop the military operations and start negotiations to stabilize the situation.”
