US Senator Ed Markey has expressed his support for the people of Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
Markey said on Twitter that. Turkey encourages Azerbaijan with military aid against Armenia and provocative statements that thwart mediation efforts.
The senator added that the US must support efforts to bring peace to the region.
