The relatively stable tension remained in the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)-Azerbaijani conflict zone overnight. Shushan Stepanyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, stated this on Facebook Wednesday morning.
"Artillery battles continued in various parts with various intensities.
In the morning, the adversary, violating the humanitarian ceasefire, resumed missile-artillery shelling in the south, southeast, north and northeast directions, especially firing intensively in the southeast, north, and northeast directions.
The [Artsakh] DA [Defense Army] units are taking proper actions in all directions of the frontline in order to stop the adversary's offensive activeness, continuing to confidently carry out the sacred mission of defending the homeland's borders," Stepanyan added.
