Yesterday, two servicemen came out in the direction of Mataghis village of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh); they were in hiding in the forests for ten days. Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, told about this on the air of RFE/RL.
"We cannot announce an exact number of our fallen or missing, but we cannot but say those who we are identifying," he said, noting that the two other military groups had come out of the forests earlier.
Hovhannisyan noted that Azerbaijan does not even present the number of their casualties, whereas the Armenian side has published respective lists every day—and sometimes even twice a day. "The whole world knows that they [Azerbaijan] are concealing [the number of their casualties]; we are not concealing," he said, noting that the Armenian side works transparently not only with the world, but also with the Armenian people.
