At the initiative of Russia, Armenia sent a military delegation to Moscow to meet with representatives of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry to discuss the ceasefire monitoring mechanism in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), but Baku refused to take such a step. Mane Gevorgyan, spokesperson for Armenia’s Prime Minister of Nikol Pashinyan, told this to TASS on Friday evening.

"Yerevan has responded positively to the Russian initiative and sent representatives of the Ministry of Defense to Moscow to meet with the Azerbaijani side. However, according to our information, Baku did not send its representatives to attend the meeting. This means that Baku, in fact, rejects the [humanitarian ceasefire] agreement reached in Moscow and responds to the Russian initiative by rejecting [it]," Gevorgyan said.
