In response to a request from Russia, France and the United States, the UN Security Council on Monday will discuss the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)], a source in the Security Council told RIA Novosti.
The closed consultation on the Karabakh issue is scheduled for Monday at 3pm, the aforesaid news agency's interlocutor said.
According to this UN Security Council source, Russia, France and the US, which are co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, have petitioned for this discussion.
